The Finestra Heavy Duty Mesh is Australia first and only flat mesh retractable screen system for large openings that is Cyclone rated, pet friendly and fire resilient!
Suiting openings up to a massive 9 m wide in one direction for a single opening be it a door our outdoor entertaining area, or 18.0 m for a center-opening pair, reaching skyward up to 4 m high.
Its 100% polyester mesh is cyclone rated, with mesh ratings up to 150 kg GDF, and the flat mesh rolls away neatly when not in use.
Our uniquely designed ramp-style bottom track is a low 14 mm high, which means there is no trip hazard, and we provide a double sided lock is supplied as standard.
You can also turn your Finestra Flat Mesh flyscreen into a sideways opening outdoor blind by opting for our 95% shade fabric or a privacy fabric instead of the insect mesh at no extra cost or better still check out our exciting new DUO screen a flyscreen / Outdoor blind system.

SYSTEM FEATURES
- Ramp-style bottom track. The heavy-duty system has a special ramp-style bottom track only 14 mm high, virtually eliminating any trip hazard.
- Removable cassettes that make DIY or Professional installation so easy.
- No spring tensioning is needed unless a specific adjustment is required, then it's a simple turn of an Allen key. No faffing about
- Heat-welded (Not stitched!) T-shaped seams, with no splines to jam or get stuck like traditional flat screen systems.
- Double-sided lock at no extra cost to you!
- 100% polyester mesh, cyclone rated. Fire-resilient and pet mesh come standard, all in one.
- Multiple cassette sizes, starting from 48 mm projection.
- Converts to a Duo Screen. A fly screen mesh and a 95% sunshade mesh within the one unit. These features are Australian market firsts.

QUALITY MESH AND COMPONENTS
- High-strength GDF polyester mesh. A durable, lightweight open-weave mesh made from high-strength polyester fiber, load rated to withstand 150 kg of force.
- Strong and hard-wearing. High tensile strength, so it resists tearing, stretching and heavy loads.
- Made for Australian weather. Weather and UV resistant, it withstands sun, moisture, mold and mildew, and resists corrosive effects.
- Tougher than nylon. It has better chemical and abrasion resistance than nylon or fiberglass weaves.
- Breathable and flexible. It allows good airflow and drainage of water, as water cannot be absorbed by the mesh. • Keeps out insects and stands up to pets, with aluminum frames.
- One mesh type. The system uses only polyester mesh, because it is the strongest and longest-lasting choice.

Features and Benefits
- No tripping hazard. The ramp-style track is only 14 mm high, with a rear ramp fitted when the screen is used in a walkway. We also have a standard square track if required.
- Wind rating. Finestra 150 kg GDF mesh is able to withstand wind speeds of 127 km per hour. This High Impact mesh is available where the strongest wind resistance is needed.
- A neater and easier fit. The top track, bottom track and left and right side channels are assembled as a single unit, so one person can install it without the cassette attached. The cassette is inserted last of all.

- Locking system supplied as standard. The double-sided lock gives added safety and peace of mind when you need to keep young children or pets contained, rather than relying on a magnetic catch.
- Weather. It is highly resistant to rain and dust thanks to its polyester construction, unlike the lighter-weight fibreglass-based and PVC-coated screens commonly supplied by our competitors.
- Smallest possible cassette. Cassettes start from 48 mm and increase in 10 mm increments as the width of the screen increases, so each screen has the smallest cassette possible.
